In the present study, bendway weir arrangements, including WR1-1 (installed on both sides of the channel at a relative spacing of 2.5, with a distance of 0.3 m between the structures), WR1-0 (installed along the inner bank at a relative spacing of 2.5), WR2-2 (installed on both sides of the channel at a relative spacing of 5, with a distance of 0.6 m between the structures), and WR3-3 (installed on both sides of the channel at a relative spacing of 1.7, with a distance of 0.2 m between the structures), were investigated and compared with the no-weir condition (WR0-0) in an eight-bend meandering flume with a rigid bed under different hydraulic conditions. Tracer-tracking experiments and concentration–time measurements were conducted to evaluate tracer transport behavior. The parameters Cr (peak tracer concentration reduction ratio between the inlet and outlet), Tpr (the difference between the times required to reach the maximum concentration at the beginning and end of each experiment), Tdr (the difference between the tracer-cloud travel times between the upstream and downstream measurement points), tracer transport velocity (U), and longitudinal dispersion coefficient (DL) were calculated. The results showed that increasing the unit discharge from 0.014 to 0.05 m³/(m·s) decreased Cr, Tpr, and Tdr and increased U and DL under most arrangements. The maximum decrease in Cr and the maximum increase in DL were 66% and 98%, respectively.
