The increasing development of computing and satellite technologies and remote sensing in recent years has led to the development of several meteorological forecasting models, of which the TIGGE database with a large number of powerful forecasting models, is the most important. The aim of this study was to evaluate the performance of all available numerical models in the database to predict daily precipitation in 38 synoptic stations located in different climates of Iran. In addition, removing biases from raw datasets using Quantile Mapping (QM) method is another objective of this study. Results showed that in humid, semi-humid, Mediterranean and Arid climate zones (mostly includes the southwest, northwest and northeast parts of Iran), most of the prediction models are highly correlated with ground observations, while in semi-arid and extra-arid regions the correlation coefficient (CC) between the forecasted and observed datasets is very low. For example, the CC and RMSE values obtained from ECMWF and METEO centers in most parts of the country are higher than 0.6 and lower than 4 mm/day, respectively, while the performance of CMA and CPTEC models is not remarkable and leads to the weak results. Also, evaluation of the corrected precipitation values by QM method indicates that there is a significant improvement in the performance of most prediction systems. Findings in extra-arid, arid, and Mediterranean zones demonstrate an increase in CC value, averagely about 20%. Moreover, the results depicted that by removing biases from the raw datasets, the performance of numerical weather prediction (NWP) models in estimating the low and high precipitation events is improved and this issue further increases the applicability of precipitation forecasting systems in flood warning systems and water resources management.}, keywords = {Rainfall,remote sensing,Prediction,Weather Models,Flood}, title_fa = {بهبود عملکرد سامانه‎های پیش‎بینی بارش جهانی در اقلیم‌های مختلف ایران با روش تصحیح اریبی نگاشت چندک}, abstract_fa = {از آنجائی که بارش به‌عنوان یکی از اجزاء اصلی مطالعات هشدار سیل، خشکسالی و منابع آب بهشمار میآید، پیشبینی کمی آن از درجه اهمیت بسیار بالایی برخوردار است. گسترش و پیشرفت روزافزون محاسبات رایانهای و فناوریهای ماهوارهای و سنجش از دور در سال‌های اخیر منجر به توسعه مدل‌های پیشبینی هواشناسی متعددی شده است که از مهمترین آنها میتوان به پایگاه اطلاعاتی TIGGE اشاره نمود که در برگیرنده تعدادی زیادی از مدل‌های پیشبینی قدرتمند است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف ارزیابی عملکرد تمامی مدلهای عددی قابل‌دسترس در پایگاه مذکور جهت پیش‎بینی بارش روزانه در 38 ایستگاه سینوپتیک کشور ایران که در اقلیمهای مختلف واقع شدهاند، به انجام رسیده است. همچنین بررسی اثر تصحیح اریبی به روش نگاشت چندک (QM) بر عملکرد مدل‎های پیشبینی بارش از دیگر اهداف اصلی این تحقیق بهشمار میآید. نتایج بدست آمده نشان داد که عمده مدل‌های پیشبینی در اقلیمهای مرطوب، نیمه مرطوب، مدیترانهای و خشک (که بیشتر مناطق جنوب غربی تا شمال غربی و شمال شرقی کشور را شامل می‎شوند) دارای بیشترین میزان همبستگی با دادههای زمینی هستند ولی که در اقلیمهای نیمه‌خشک و خیلی خشک مقدار شاخص CC به‌مراتب کمتر است. مقدار شاخصهای آماری CC و RMSE بدست آمده از دو مرکز ECMWF و METEO در اکثر مناطق کشور به ترتیب بالای 6/0 و کمتر از 4 میلیمتر در روز است و این در حالی است که دو مدل CMA و CPTEC از کارایی چندان مناسبی برخوردار نمیباشند. همچنین ارزیابی مقادیر بارش تصحیح‌شده با روش QM بیانگر بهبود چشمگیر شاخص‎های آماری بدست آمده از بسیاری از مراکز پیشبینی است. طبق محاسبات صورت گرفته، مقدار شاخص CC در اقلیمهای خیلی خشک، خشک و مدیترانه‎ای به‌طور متوسط افزایشی در حدود 20 درصد دارد. نکته مهم دیگر آنکه با حذف اریب از دادهها عملکرد مدل‌های عددی هواشناسی در پیشبینی مقادیر کم و بالای بارش بهبود یافته و همین مسئله قابلیت کاربرد سامانههای پیشبینی بارش در سیستم‎های هشدار سیل و مدیریت منابع آب را بیش از پیش افزایش میدهد.}, keywords_fa = {Rainfall,remote sensing,Prediction,Weather Models,Flood}, url = {https://ijswr.ut.ac.ir/article_77144.html}, eprint = {https://ijswr.ut.ac.ir/article_77144_c65ad74a2f5da02fbce268022039c503.pdf} }
