With significant advances in telecommunication and communication sector, the use of satellite imageries for land-based observations has found a wider role than traditional observations. Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) satellite products are available to the public free of charge and have a reasonable resolution of 1km × 1km. In this research, it was tried to calculate the amount of total solar radiation in 4 stations in Iran, using the Earth's surface and atmospheric MODIS data as an input of the parametric and the Angström-Prescott (AP) models and to compare the results with ground-level observations. The AP model output obtained from the MODIS data (APRS) was compared with the AP model output obtained from ground level observation data (APGS). By comparing the results, it was found that the APRS model is more accuracy than the APGS model on cloudy days. So that the amount of RMSE and MBE indices for the APRS model on cloudy days were 41.74 W/m2 and 19.70 W/m2, respectively, and for APGS model were 43.6 W/m2 and 34.25 W/m2, respectively. However, the accuracy of the APGS model on sunny days was higher than that of the APRS model. Although the limitations of ground data (point observations) could be an effective factor in choosing one of both models. Results also indicate a high accuracy of the parametric model (RMSE = 16.56 W/m2 and R2 =0.93), especially on cloudy days. On the other hand, despite of high accuracy of the parametric model, the application of APRS model is easy. However, long period sunshine hour’s data are needed for calibration of AP coefficients in different regions.}, keywords = {Solar radiation estimation,MODIS,Parametric model,Angstrom-Prescott model}, title_fa = {ارزیابی کارایی مدل‌های برآورد تابش خورشید در سطح زمین با استفاده از تصاویر ماهواره‌ای}, abstract_fa = {تابش خورشیدی علاوه بر استفاده در مدلهای اقلیمی، نقشی تعیینکننده در برنامههای توسعه تاسیسات خورشیدی در مکانهای مختلف دارد. با پیشرفتهای چشمگیر در حوزه مخابرات و ارتباطات، استفاده از تصاویر ماهوارهای برای دیدبانی سطح زمین، نقش گستردهتری نسبت به دیدبانیهای مرسوم پیدا کرده است. محصولات سنجنده MODIS بصورت رایگان در دسترس عموم قرار دارد و با پیکسل های 1km×1km  از تفکیک مکانی قابل قبولی برخوردار است. در این پژوهش سعی شده در چهار ایستگاه در گسترهی ایران با استفاده از دادههای سطح زمین و اتمسفر این سنجنده بعنوان ورودی مدل پارامتریکی و مدل تجربی انگستروم-پرسکات، مقدار تابش کل روزانه (بر حسب وات بر مترمربع) محاسبه شود و نهایتا با مشاهدات سطح زمین مقایسه گردد. خروجی مدل تجربی انگستروم-پرسکات با دادههای اخذ شده از سنجندهی مادیس (APRS) در برابر خروجی همین مدل با دادههای پایش شده در سطح زمین (APGS) مقایسه شدند. با مقایسه نتایج میتوان دریافت که مدل  APRSدقت بهتری نسبت به مدل APGS در روزهای ابری دارد. به صورتیکه مقدار شاخصهای RMSE  و MBE در روزهای ابری برای مدل APRS به ترتیب برابر 74/41 و W/m2 70/19 است و برای مدل APGS به ترتیب برابر 60/43 و W/m2 25/34 است. با این حال دقت مدل APGS در روزهای آفتابی بالاتر از مدل APRS بود. هر چند محدودیت دادههای زمینی (که به صورت نقطهای دیدبانی میشوند) میتواند عاملی تاثیرگذار در انتخاب یکی از این دو مدل باشد. همچنین نتایج نشاندهندهی دقت بالای مدل پارامتریکی (W/m25/16RMSE = و 93/0R2 =) مخصوصا در روزهای ابری میباشد. از نگاهی دیگر، با وجود دقت بالای مدل پارامتریک، مدل انگستروم-پرسکات با استفاده از دادههای ماهواره از فرآیندی آسان برخوردار است. هرچند که برای  واسنجی ضرایب آن در مناطق متفاوت به دادههای ساعات آفتابی با طول دوره مناسب نیاز است.}, keywords_fa = {Solar radiation estimation,MODIS,Parametric model,Angstrom-Prescott model}, url = {https://ijswr.ut.ac.ir/article_71073.html}, eprint = {https://ijswr.ut.ac.ir/article_71073_ca5ada9c7c9a919b8590034287375604.pdf} }
